It is so important for students to develop good leadership and healthy habits. Our focus on Leadership and Athletics helps to ensure that our students are not only prepared for further education - but for a wonderful and successful life!
Leadership
At MMES, we provide many opportunities for our students to develop important leadership skills. These skills are incredibly useful as children get older and become more engaged with society.
How do students develop leadership skills at MMES?

Athletics
At MMES, athletics is a part of every student’s education. Our backyard and front yard are large and spacious enough for our students to participate in a variety of sports, including soccer and badminton. Our students can also play basketball at the front of the school.
Our students are encouraged to join our house league teams (coming in Spring 2013!). All of our students participate in our annual Terry Fox run and Track and Field event. They take great pride in learning new sports skills and engaging in friendly competition with their peers. In addition to sports, our students have at least an hour each day to spend time outdoors engaged in free play. We have a variety of fun play sets for our students, including climbing equipment, a slide, swings, and a merry-go-round. Indoors, our Physical Education curriculum includes team-building activities and Yoga. We encourage teamwork and sportsmanship in all of our athletics activities. We strive to make sure every student feels included and has fun. |
